Patrick, we appreciate you updating your review. We wanted to provide some additional context for anyone who comes across this review in the future.
The XXIO 12 20° 7 Wood, R Flex, 42', with headcover was shipped from our facility as ordered. After Patrick contacted us regarding the package he received, we asked for photos so we could investigate what had happened. Once we received those photos, it was clear that the items inside the package were not items we had shipped.
We immediately filed a claim with UPS and provided them with the photos and information regarding the package. We are still waiting to hear back from UPS regarding their investigation and what may have happened to the package while in transit.
Importantly, we did not make Patrick wait for UPS to complete its investigation before taking care of him. Since we could establish that the contents he received were not what we shipped, we processed a full refund for his order.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive a package without the club that was purchased. While we cannot yet say exactly what happened to the package after it left our facility, we can say with confidence that the items shown in the photos were not shipped by us, and we took responsibility for making sure the customer was refunded while we continued working with the carrier to determine what happened.
We appreciate Patrick giving us the opportunity to address the situation, and we hope this provides some helpful context for anyone reading the review.
